Biennale Democrazia: online conversation with DAAR and Robida
On March 18th at 11 am (CET - Rome), we are coordinating the online conversation with DAAR and Robida Collective in preparation for the Visible Temporary Parliament, which will be held on March 26th in the Sala Rossa of the Palazzo Civico in Turin in collaboration with the Polo del '900 and on the occasion of Biennale Democrazia 2023.
The Visible team (Judith Wielander, Matteo Lucchetti and Carolina Lio) will moderate the dialogue - in Italian - between the two art collectives and Giada Giustetto, educator for Biennale Democrazia.
The conversation (live streamed on Visible Facebook page) will focus on themes of regeneration and decolonisation, comparing the Turin context with the experiences in the peripheral geographies of the two artistic projects: Carlentini, in the province of Syracuse, where DAAR is developing Ente di Decolonizzazione Borgo Rizza; and the village of Topolò, on the border areas between Friuli and Slovenia, where Robida collective is based.
