Free Portfolio Review Sessions

In the framework of our commitment to offering free or accessible mentorship to emerging and mid-career artists, we offer free portfolio review sessions to 5 artists each month. This opportunity is, for the moment, limited to artists living and working in London; all sessions are held in person in our offices in Canary Wharf.

Selected artists will be invited to a 90-minute meeting with Looking Forward director Carolina Lio to review their portfolio, talk about strategies to present their work properly, address key challenges and offer insights and recommendations to develop future projects. The session will focus especially on reviewing and discussing the artist's statement, presentation of the CV, layout and general effectiveness of the portfolio. On a case-by-case basis, it will also be possible to discuss career paths, how to access funding opportunities, and how to build relationships with curators and galleries.
