Presentation of Marzia Migliora's Monography in Milan
The presentation tour continues with an event at the Milan location of Galleria Lia Rumma on Thursday, 30 January 2025. In this new stop in the tour that has already visited the Museo delle Civiltà in Rome, the Italian Cultural Institute in London, and Artissima in Turin, Marzia Migliora will be in conversation with Matteo Lucchetti, introduced by Lia Rumma.
Conceived as a concept book in which the body of work is revisited through seven recurring themes in Marzia Migliora's practice, Marzia Migliora: Sette Mostre Immaginifiche 1993-2024 consists of seven exhibitions on paper, curated by seven curators who imagined setting them up in places of choice in the artist's biography. The book is Marzia Migliora's first monograph and covers over thirty years of work with original texts by: Eva Brioschi, Diana Campbell, Anna Cestelli Guidi, Emanuele Coccia, Francesca Comisso and Nicoletta Leonardi, Maja and Reuben Fowkes, Matteo Lucchetti, Marzia Migliora, Adrian Piper, Elena Pugliese, Davide Quadrio, Vandana Shiva, and Andrea Viliani.
The book is edited by Anna Cestelli Guidi and Matteo Lucchetti, produced by Looking Forward and published by NERO Editions.
