Presentation of Marzia Migliora's Monography in London

Join us on the 30th of October at the Italian Cultural Institute in London for the preview of Marzia Migliora. Seven Imaginative Exhibitions 1993-2024. Featuring conversations with Marzia Migliora, curators Anna Cestelli Guidi & Matteo Lucchetti, authors Maja & Reuben Fowkes, and Looking Forward director Carolina Lio.

Conceived as a concept book, Seven Imaginative Exhibitions reinterprets Marzia’s practice through recurring themes such as rurality, extractivism, interspecies metamorphoses, and community-building, turning her decades-long career into a unique emotional and geographic journey.

This bilingual monograph (Italian/English), published by Nero, captures over 30 years of Migliora’s career through seven unique “exhibitions on paper,” exploring themes like rurality, patriarchal oppression, and interspecies metamorphosis with contributions from Adrian Piper, Vandana Shiva, Emanuele Coccia, and more.

The book is edited by Anna Cestelli Guidi and Matteo Lucchetti, produced by Looking Forward and published by NERO Editions.

This project is realized with the support of the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture as part of the Italian Council program (12th edition, 2023).
