We have worked with Sandi Hilal, Pedro Reyes and Elizabeth Povinelli (Karrabing Film Collective) on video statements for the newly released Visible's book and research platform Collectively Annotated Bibliography. watch
This research, commissioned by Public Art Agency Sweden, mutated its procedures from the collaborative methodology through which the Visible project has been conceived, in solidarity and support with the most current and interesting socially engaged artistic practices through ever-changing advisory boards.
You find a corpus of about 150 printed materials, composed of publications focusing on artistic practices in the expanded field of art with a public purpose, from a decolonial perspective that takes into account the bias, privileges and power positions of those who wrote the dominant perspectives on art history so far.
